The Learning Resources Centre (LRC) is open throughout the college day and is staffed by a full time Librarian and an assistant; student library assistants also help out at lunch and break times. Students are encouraged to make the most of the resources available to them from the LRC, these include over 14,000 books, magazines, DVDs and online resources. There are comfortable seating areas for quiet reading and a large computer area for students to use for research, study and homework; classes will often use the LRC during lesson times. The LRC hosts author visits, reading groups and other events through the year and operates a drop–in homework club every day after college.

Students may borrow 4 books for two weeks and a DVD for 3 days. Help is always available to students on finding resources, research, study and revision skills.

The LRC subscribes to a growing number of online resources that can be accessed from within college or from home.
